“A good antidote against female stereotypes”
If equality versifies with news, the issue covered in many media, gathers and forces us to reflect on our professional and family environment.
The parity within the executive authorities of direction, the non-linear careers of the women, the perfect equality (sic!) of the wages between women and men are part of the major social issues.
Within this context, PWN Paris, in partnership with the MixCity and ACD associations of BNP Paribas, proposed to approach in an entertaining way, the question of the professional equality woman/man by attending the play ” I AM TOP ” of Blandine Métayer.
The members of the network and their guests discovered a great one-woman show that kept them capitivated from start to finish at the convivial Café-Théâtre du Royal Factory in Versailles.
Between humor and emotion, and with a healthy dose of self-mocking, Blandine Métayer tells us through her character “Catherine Boissard” about the bustling life of this charming, funny and tremendous character!
During one hour and thirty minutes, Blandine Métayer plays a woman who has arrived at the top management level of her company.. The amazing journey of the character who accumulates academic successes to please (initially) her father makes us discover progressively a career filled with pitfalls, a tormented private life … until obtaining her position.
Through this play, only based on testimonials, the artist uninhibites both men and women on a subject which aims to be neither moralizing, nor caricatural. Blandine by her part, has managed to portray a character that is not perfect but just a woman who is courageous, ambitious, lucid and sometimes naive.
At the end of the performance, a friendly cocktail party was organized for the participants to meet the artist to discuss various topics.
I’M TOP: is a good antidote against female stereotypes that will delight both women and men!
